The camera never lies… Or does it !?!?…

Softly Does It…

So playing around with ND filters is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time, with a certain type of  “soft n fluffy” water in mind… Well trying to combine tide / weather and location together isn’t as easy as I’d thought, but finally I managed to get something close to the shot I want…. I’ll still continue to look for THE shot I want, but for now this is a start…

This is awesome! The water looks more than soft…it looks like fog…almost as if it is not wet at all and that it is just blowing over the rocks. Very beautiful shot Funky and good job with the ND filter.

    • Thanks you… Yeah I really do love the effect you get with extending the exposure… I do wish I had some of your coastline though, then I could make much better use of it… :)

  2. This is a great shot – I love that soft washed-out look. What strength ND filter were you using, if I may ask? :)

    • Thanks Simone… This was an ND8, but I’ve still not played with them anywhere near enough…
