The camera never lies… Or does it !?!?…

Night Access

Now I’m not normally known for night photography, but the other night I had the opportunity to get out and about during the hours of darkness and try out a new area of photographical expertise… and it was kinda fun I have to admit… but kinda cold too… lol…

Here’s one of the results and I’ve tried to give it a bit more of a menacing mood than just a standard black and white conversion… Hopefully it worked out ok….

Ooooh very menacing indeed. The bits of colored light cast sure gives an eerie feel in an otherwise bw image. Pretty cool effect. I love it :)

    • Thanks you… It never ceases to amaze me how tricky converting to b&w can sometimes be… and this took far longer to get how I wanted it than I’d ever have imagined…

  4. What a corker, as you know I love colour and never really thought about turning my night stuff into B&W but I have to say this really does work out well.

It was great fun as well must get back down there soon and bag some more night stuff

    • Well the colour version really didn’t do anything for me, and with an added touch of dark mood it seemed to work a lot better… You’re right though, another trip is definitely on the cards….
