The camera never lies… Or does it !?!?…

Guitar Hero…

Well ok… Maybe not… lol… Truth is I DO own a guitar… but I have to confess to not being able to play a tune on it… Zip… Not a thing… Naught… Nada… ;)

Actually I don’t even know any chords… lol… It was bought many years ago on a whim when I knew I’d be good at it… Ummmmm…. Actually I wanted a saxophone, but it I was sure I’d need far to many fingers to play it… so opted for the natural alternative… and chose to buy a bass guitar as it only had 4 strings… Ummmm…. But I couldn’t find one so bought a lead guitar instead…. lol…. ;)

So anyways…. That’s the story behind my meagre “guitar hero” beginnings… Double ummmmm…. Actually I’ve NEVER played guitar hero either as I’m pretty sure I’d be cr*p at that too… I think I’ll stick to my triangle… Well I would had I not lost my dinger stick…

Ooooh… I have another confession actually… I CAN play a note.. I can play a C major… but only cos I googled it tonight so that it would “look” like I knew how to play a guitar.. lol..

SO.. My question now is “Does anyone know a song in C major??”… and when I say in C major, I mean JUST C major… ALL the way through… ONLY C major… As I’m determined to be able to play something and I’m pretty sure I can handle that… Suggestions welcome… :)

Haha, you kill me. Well it sounds like you’re a pro at C major. I can’t believe you actually bought a guitar on a whim. You’re gonna HAVE to learn something on it. You HAVE to. Besides, you’re good at everything you touch, so why not try music? http://www.teachyourselfguitar.net/

Well, even if you don’t play…yet…you still made one heck of a shot out of the thing. That top one is especially stunning!

    • LOL.. Thanks Amber… Well I’m not sure about everything.. I’m crap at languages, algebra in particular I could never grasp… ;)
I’ll check out the website… but for now I’ll stick to miming to Pink Floyd.. I’m sure that I carry that off convincingly… lol… ;)

  2. You could play Tomorrow Never Knows, that’s in C major throughout. A minor, D major, E minor, G major are all very easy to grasp too…plus E and A major. There you go, a whole new vista of music :D
