The camera never lies… Or does it !?!?…

Top Of The World

Well ok, maybe not “quite” the top of the world, but I guess it’s deceptively higher than this picture makes it seem…. It’s still most likely a good 150 feet down to the bottom…. and the brave soul standing on the brink would be my daughter…

It’s not anywhere near as dangerous as it might first appear though, as I made sure that she told me where all her pocket money and sweets were hidden before I asked her to pose, so had she slipped I’d not have had to risk life and limb entering her bedroom blind…. You have to have priorities when taking these sorts of shots…. ;)

Oh yeah, you defo have your priorities straight ;) I love this shot. The comp leads the eye so nicely right up to your daughter. I knew the cliff was steeper than it looked, but 150 feet? That’s a proper little cliff. Love those clouds too Funky. A great shot!

    • Thanks A… I’m still not quite sure it’s a real “cliff” cliff though… lol… More like a slopey cliff…. or a series of mini cliffs…. But you’d still not want to sledge down it in the snow… lol…

  5. Jeez I’ve missed so much recently haven’t I??? Great perspective there – makes it dramatic.
