Burnt and Bare
Well you really do have to love the odd bit of Urbex, and who can refuse the opportunity of exploring a burnt out mansion… Not entirely sure what this buildings history is at the moment, maybe a nursing home or something…. but it had obviously been ravaged by fire at some point, which had taken out the main staircase….
But there was an alternative stairwell that 
we managed to “very” carefully pick our way up to the second floor….which got me this shot looking back down in to the entrance lobby….
However the fire damage and distinct lack of floorboards made exploring much further than the first few rooms just a tiny bit too precarious…. even for me….
But it was definitely worth the visit, just for a couple of shots if nothing else…
